The Rainbow House is a Southwood trailer owned by the Jefferson Park Baptist Church since 1988. The church offers children and youth after-school tutoring and enrichment opportunities and a vacation bible school.

Crafts, field trips, bible study, etc

The church invites community organizations to use the space for outreach work in Southwood. Previously, the center was used for AA meetings, HIV/AIDs testing, CHIP meetings, English classes, and an animal clinic. Contact Bonnie Beach at (434) 293-6175 to inquire into the church’s current Southwood ministries and its policy for sharing the community center.
