CRECIENDO JUNTOS – GROWING TOGETHER

Plenary Meetings

In Latin America, the term plenary refers to a regularly scheduled public forum. Creciendo Juntos (CJ) organizes a free, public monthly plenary between the months of September and June, on the second Thursday of the month, from 9:40 – 11:30 in the Albemarle County Building on 5th Street.

Plenaries take the form of a panel, presentation, or workshop, and focus on a specific topic related to our local Latino population. The purpose of the CJ plenary is to strengthen service providers through a monthly training and to inform others about Latino related issues and local initiatives. The plenary also offers an excellent opportunity to disseminate information, to learn about what is going on locally, and to network and explore partnerships.

Please email us if you are planning on attending for the first time or would like to speak on your work with or about the local Latino/Hispanic community.

To minimize omissions, we welcome participation and editing in the preparation of the minutes of plenary meetings. Please send your comments to CJ’s Program Coordinator at cj.cville@gmail.com The established logistics protocol for organizing a plenary is available by clicking here.
