LVCA Intermediate-level Citizenship Class

LVCA will offer our next citizenship class for intermediate English-speakers in July. This class is open to legal permanent residents within 2 years of applying for citizenship. See below for the class details.


LVCA Intermediate-level Citizenship Class

Students in this class will study U.S. history, government, geography, symbols, and holidays and learn about the rights and responsibilities that come with citizenship. Students will prepare for the reading and writing portions of the test through word study and dictation.

Classroom activities such as role-playing, discussion, and orally answering questions about themselves will help students prepare for the interview. Students will also learn about the N400 application process and eligibility requirements.


When: Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:00 - 8:00 PM / July 9 - August 15

Where: PVCC Classroom J125, first floor of the Jefferson School

Cost: $20 for textbook and materials
